Mahindra plans to keep its diesel and petrol engines for the facelifted XUV300. These include its 110PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, emissions upgrades to meet BS6 Stage II norms and six-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

Automaker will implement an Aisin 6-speed torque converter automatic on its most potent 131hp 1.2-liter T-GDI petrol variant of the XUV300, similar to what can be found in Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Volkswagen Virtus with their respective 1.0-liter TSI turbo petrol engines.
